Commercial Frozen or Burst Pipe Repair for all of Fairfield County, CT including Greenwich, Stamford, Darien, New Canaan, Westport, Wilton and Weston, Connecticut.
This problem typically occurs in the dead of winter on cold, low "double-digit" or "single-digit" nights, in walls or crawl-spaces where heat from your home is at a minimum. Keeping a faucet open and allowing a small trickle or constant drip can prevent your pipes from freezing. You should also know where your main water valve (main shut-off) is, in the event a pipe freezes and bursts - and know how to use it.
In the event you discover a frozen pipe, from which you cannot get any flow of water, you should call us immediately (before it bursts). We have special tools specifically designed to quickly and safely thaw frozen pipes. NEVER attempt to thaw frozen pipes with any type of fire or open flame, such as a butane or acetylene torch.
